🤿 Nusa Penida
If you follow any travel content on Instagram you will have come across Nusa Penida. Why? Because it is breathtakingly beautiful! And it’s just a short boat ride away from our Boundless base in Sanur. Check out why our Nusa Penida experience is such an unforgettable one for families.
Breathtaking Natural Beauty: Nusa Penida is renowned for its stunning landscapes and natural beauty. The island is home to magnificent cliffs, pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and awe-inspiring viewpoints, making it a paradise for nature lovers of all ages. Exploring these scenic wonders together as a family will create unforgettable memories.
Unique Wildlife Encounters: Nusa Penida offers opportunities for families to witness unique wildlife encounters. The island is known for its diverse marine life, and snorkelling or diving in the surrounding waters can introduce you and your family to vibrant coral reefs, tropical fish, and even the chance to swim alongside majestic manta rays.
Accessible from Bali: Nusa Penida is easily accessible from Bali, with regular boat services departing from Sanur. The short boat ride makes it convenient for our families to reach their wonderful destination, allowing them to maximise their time on the island.
🐢 Sea Turtle Conservation Field Trip (for all the family)
This very special ‘Give Back’ field trip is one that all the children will be looking forward to. But, don’t worry, parents don’t have to miss out as they have the option of coming along too.
Through our partnership with the local Turtle Conservation Centre, families will have the chance to learn all about the issues facing the local turtle population, the important work the Centre does, and how we can all help. There may even be the opportunity to release some rescued turtles back to the ocean.
🎤 Karaoke at Zero4 Japanese Restaurant
This is one just for the parents (whilst the kids will enjoy a movie night at the Education Centre). Whether you’re the next Toni Braxton or just tone-deaf - who cares?! Did you know that ‘karaoke’ means ‘empty orchestra’ in Japanese? So where better to host all this Boundless talent than Bali’s finest Japanese restaurant!
🌄 Mount Batur at Sunrise
A weekend like no other. This is your chance to experience Bali at its finest with blissful hot springs and awe-inspiring views from the summit of Mount Batur as the sun creeps over the horizon and bathes the island in new light.
Mount Batur holds great cultural significance for the Balinese people. The volcano is considered sacred and is associated with the Hindu deity, Dewi Danu. The local communities hold religious ceremonies and rituals around the mountain, further adding to its spiritual importance.
The surroundings of Mount Batur are visually stunning. The mountain is situated in the Kintamani District, which is characterised by beautiful landscapes, lush greenery, and picturesque views of Lake Batur. The combination of the volcano, the lake, and the surrounding caldera makes for a mesmerising panorama your family will never forget.
